Postpartum Care
Care That Holds You in the Quiet, Messy, Powerful Middle
This care is for you if:
You’ve given birth—but your body is still healing, your emotions are still raw, and no one is really checking on you.
You’ve been told this time is about bouncing back—but what you’re actually craving is slower care, real support, and space to just be where you are.
Whether you birthed with doctors, on your own, or in an OR—you deserve care that sees you, honors your recovery, and meets this transition with tenderness.
You don’t need a perfect reason to ask for support. You don’t have to be struggling to deserve care. If something in you is craving gentleness, guidance, or simply to be witnessed, let that be enough. This is a space where your needs matter, no matter how small or unspoken they feel.
Whether you’re looking for one visit or a stretch of steady care—you’re invited in.
You deserve more than one rushed checkup.
If you birthed in a hospital—or had a freebirth—you still deserve care.
Real care. Thoughtful, steady, relationship-based care that holds you, not just your baby.
Too often, the postpartum period is rushed, overlooked, or treated like an afterthought.
At SunFolk, I offer something different: care that meets you where you are, honors what you’ve just been through, and supports your body, heart, and nervous system as you recover and adjust.
It’s not clinical. It’s not rushed.
It’s not a “check the box and move on” kind of visit.
This is care that asks real questions and makes space for real answers.
It’s steady, warm, and centered on you—your healing, your questions, and your unfolding.
What’s Included:
2025 Global Midwifery Fee: $1,500
This all-inclusive fee includes 10 postpartum visits over the first 12 weeks because healing, adjusting, and being witnessed takes time.
Care is offered in your home in the early weeks, and in the office as your needs shift. Each visit is slow, steady, and centered on you.
-
10 visits over the first three months—starting at 24 hours, day 3, and continuing weekly through week 12. You’ll have support through the full arc of postpartum, with care that adapts as your needs evolve.
-
We’ll tend to your physical recovery, sleep, hormones, mood, and the emotional layers of this transition. This care includes mental health screening—but more importantly, it makes space for real conversations and honest check-ins.
-
Support for chestfeeding, pumping, combo feeding, or bottle feeding—plus baby wellness checks that center your confidence, not just data. I’ll keep an eye on feeding, weight gain, reflexes, and feeding rhythm while supporting your instincts.
-
We talk about the experience of becoming—birth processing, identity shifts, parenting dynamics, and the messy beauty of figuring it out. Whether it’s your first baby or not, your unfolding matters here.
-
With extended postpartum support, I continue offering care that meets you where you are. These visits are flexible, gentle, and shaped by whatever this next stretch brings—body changes, emotional waves, feeding shifts, sleep struggles, identity transitions, or simply the need to sit with someone who understands what you've been through.
Some families schedule monthly check-ins. Others reach out when something new arises.
Extended care is available upon request and billed per visit.
